Three things we did in Stratford tonight:
1. We saw and heard the Chime Master Mobile Millennium Carillon, part of the Stratford Summer Music Festival. According to Stratford Tourism's website, it is "a 13-ton, mobile instrument with 48 bells over four octaves, played manually from an organ style keyboard. This Mobile Carillon is the largest of three carillon instruments currently touring North America; it brings the carillon, traditionally a tower instrument, down to ground level where sensations of seeing the carillonneur play, hearing the bells and feeling the vibration of sound blend into a unique and dynamic musical experience."
2. We sat down by the river beside a tree that we thought looked like it had a face in it.
3. Ghosts of Stratford Walking Tour. Led by ghosts Euphemia and Edward.
